Apple Credits Security Researcher at Member Firm RedTeam Partners
Zurich, 5 October 2026. Apple has publicly credited a security researcher at association member RedTeam Partners. Hein Htet Aung appears on Apple’s official Web Server Security Acknowledgements page for August 2026, alongside the handle @redteampartnersglobal.
Apple states on that page that it credits people who reported potential security issues in its web servers, and that a name is added after an issue has been identified and addressed.
The finding arose while examining how AI-generated responses are processed and presented within an application. It was reported through Apple’s security reporting programme on 29 July 2026, and remediation was recorded as deployed on 17 September 2026. No exploit detail was published.
RedTeam Partners has been a member of Alpine Excellence since June 2026 and carries the Tech seal. The firm tests Swiss and international companies through penetration testing and red teaming engagements.
