Editorial rules

Three constraints govern every piece of content on this platform.

Independence

  • Zero paid rankings. No business can influence its placement through payment. Not now, not in the future.
  • Zero advertising. We accept no paid advertising from any business, listed or otherwise.
  • Editorial control. Every evaluation follows documented criteria. The process is published on the About page.

Our editorial principles are guided by the ten Principles of Excellence, an independent reference for professional quality principles. In particular, the principles of Transparency, Integrity, and Accountability form the foundation of our editorial practice.

Transparency

  • Published criteria. Every evaluation criterion is documented on the About page. Check them yourself.
  • Conflict disclosure. One seal holder, Alchemy Zurich, shares organisational ties with Alpine Excellence. This is stated wherever relevant.
  • Expiring seals. Seals are valid for one calendar year. Businesses are reassessed annually and can lose their seal.
